Brownie the Dog needs a home
BROWNIE: It's so easy to fall in love with this sweetie! (But she does have a black colored coat not brown)! Brownie was dropped off at the shelter as her owner said she was moving. Can you imagine how scary the animal control is for a pet? How about how terrifying it is for one with limited vision? Brownie has congenital cataracts but it certainly doesn't slow her down! Foster mom says: Brownie is such a good girl! You would truly never know she had any vision impairment. She’s had no accidents in the house, comes when called, and now sits on command. She is so good in her crate and sleeps through the night without crying. Despite her cataracts, she’s just a regular, active dog! She is still taking herself for walks around the house on her hind legs, and loves to tuck herself in or burrow under blankets. She is so happy and loves to follow us around the house, with that cute little tail wagging. She’s very adventurous outside and just loves the snow. She likes long walks and likes to climb, so she would be a great hiking companion.
Brownie is around 5 years old and weighs 13 lbs. A home without other pets would suit Brownie best.
Brownie has been vaccinated, dewormed, heart worm tested negative, microchipped and spayed. We are asking for an adoption donation of $380 to help with the costs involved with caring for our rescue pets.
We do not have a shelter - all our dogs are in private foster homes and we require an approved application to meet them.
